Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub half of the spice mixture evenly over all sides of the chicken breasts.
Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, slightly overlapping the slices to cover the chicken completely. Place the wrapped chicken breasts seam side down in a baking pan or ovenproof skillet.
Sprinkle the remaining spice mixture over the top of the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C). Baste the chicken once or twice during baking with the pan drippings for extra flavor and moisture.
If you prefer extra crispy bacon, broil the chicken for an additional 1–2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
