Ingredients
  

Chicken Ingredients

  • 4 large chicken breasts
  • 2 sleeves Ritz crackers
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 (10-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut each chicken breast into 3 large pieces.
  • Crush Ritz crackers into fine crumbs.
  • Place milk, cheese, and cracker crumbs in separate bowls; mix salt and pepper into the crumbs.
  • Dip each chicken piece in milk, then cheese, then coat well with cracker crumbs.
  • Arrange coated chicken in a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Sprinkle parsley on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • In a saucepan, heat cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and butter until smooth and hot.
  • Pour warm sauce over chicken and serve.
