Chicken Ingredients
- 4 large chicken breasts
- 2 sleeves Ritz crackers
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 (10-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cut each chicken breast into 3 large pieces.
Crush Ritz crackers into fine crumbs.
Place milk, cheese, and cracker crumbs in separate bowls; mix salt and pepper into the crumbs.
Dip each chicken piece in milk, then cheese, then coat well with cracker crumbs.
Arrange coated chicken in a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
Sprinkle parsley on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until crispy and golden.
In a saucepan, heat cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and butter until smooth and hot.
Pour warm sauce over chicken and serve.
