Dough
- 1 cup warm water (110°F)
- 2¼ tsp instant dry yeast
- 2 tsp honey
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 2½ to 3 cups all-purpose flour
Filling
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (6 oz) package of pepperoni slices
- Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)
Make the Dough
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add warm water, yeast, and honey. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add 2 cups of flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix on low speed for 3–4 minutes. Gradually add more flour (up to 1 cup) until a soft, smooth dough forms and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
