Main Ingredients
- ½ cup fresh watermelon (diced)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
Remove watermelon rind and seeds, cut into ½-inch cubes, measure ½ cup.
Roll and squeeze lemons to get ½ cup juice, strain out seeds and pulp.
In a blender, combine watermelon, sugar, lemon juice, and 1 cup water.
Blend until smooth (30-45 seconds).
Strain mixture through fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
Add remaining 3 cups cold water and stir well.
Taste and adjust sweetness/tartness if needed.
Chill for 1 hour.
Serve over ice, garnish with lemon slices or mint if desired.
