Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Lemonade Concentrate

  • 340g fresh strawberries (hulled and cut into ½-inch pieces)
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 5-6 medium lemons (for zest and juice)
  • 350ml cold water

For Serving

  • 5 cups cold still or sparkling water
  • Extra water for adjusting taste
  • Lemon slices (optional garnish)
  • Strawberry slices (optional garnish)

Instructions
 

Prep Fruits (15 mins):

  • Hull and cut 340g strawberries into ½-inch pieces
  • Zest and juice 5-6 lemons (need 1 cup juice)

Make Base (1 hour):

  • Mix strawberries + 200g sugar + lemon zest
  • Refrigerate 1 hour, stir every 30 mins

Create Concentrate (30 mins):

  • Add ¾ cup lemon juice + 1½ cups water to strawberry mix
  • Refrigerate 30 mins
  • Strain mixture (yields 2½ cups concentrate)

Final Mix:

  • Pour concentrate into pitcher
  • Add 5 cups cold water
  • Stir well
  • Adjust taste if needed

Serve:

  • Fill glasses with ice
  • Pour lemonade
  • Garnish with lemon/strawberry slices
  • Serve immediately
